Hello everyone, how are you? In this article, I'll show you how to resolve an issue with the Amazon App Store in the Microsoft Store on Windows 10 or Windows 11. Sometimes, you may encounter a message saying the app won't work on your device. Fortunately, this process is fairly straightforward. Let's get started!
Step 1: Activate Hyper-V
The first thing I recommend doing is opening the search menu and typing Windows features. An option called Turn Windows features on or off should appear. Click it.
In the window that opens, look for Hyper-V and make sure it's selected. If it's empty, click inside the box so it turns blue. Then, click OK. This will begin searching for and downloading the necessary files. Wait a few moments for the process to complete.
Once the message Windows completed the requested changes appears, close the window.
Step 2: Set up automatic updates
Open the Microsoft Store and look for your profile icon near the search bar at the top. Click it and select App Settings.
Make sure app updates are set to Update Automatically. Then, go to the Library section in the bottom left corner and select the Get Updates button in the top right corner.
Once the check mark appears, close the Microsoft Store and restart your computer.
And that's it!
Once you've restarted your computer, you should be able to open the Amazon App Store without any issues. I hope this tutorial was helpful, and I'll see you in the next one. See you later!
