Here's Fran. In this article, I'll show you how to change the taskbar color in Windows 11. This procedure is super simple, but you should pay attention to one crucial setting.
The first thing you should do is press the Windows button and then select the Settings icon. In the Personalization section, make sure to click on "Colors." In this section, you'll find an option called "Show accent color in the Start menu and taskbar," but surprise, it's disabled.
This happens because something is blocking the taskbar colors, and it's the light mode you're currently using. This mode doesn't allow accent colors to be displayed. So, if you want to be able to change the taskbar colors, just scroll down a bit and look for the options to choose the mode. Click the drop-down menu and change the mode from light to dark or custom.
After doing this, if you return to the "Show accent color on the Start menu and taskbar" option, you'll see that it's now available. Just toggle the switch and then you can choose any color you want from the palette. As you can see, even the color of the Start menu changes, which is a nice addition to the Windows 11 user interface.
That's it, easy enough, right? As always, for more information and details, you can check out the article in the description. And if you enjoyed this content, be sure to like and subscribe to our channel. Thanks!
